Task 3- Understand the techniques of music videos


To edit to the beat I had marked where the beats are in the music, then when I edited the videos I cut them where the marks were on the music line. This made me edit perfectly to the beat.

To split the video and put them together I layered the videos on top of each other and then either cropped the video or made it smaller. I did this by double clicking the clip and then putting the cursor to the corner and dragging it smaller. To crop the video I clicked on the cropping tool and cropped the video to where I wanted it. Also, I gave the video a great effect by layering the same part of the music video and cropping different bits to make it look very professional. 

To make one colour stand out more I had layered up two of the same clips then desaturated one of them. The other one I had used chroma keyer to make the red of the car stand out compared to the background or any other objects. To make them both show at the same time I pressed this button.
